About us
Brain-Building comes from Tes Ebersohn and Kaylan Williams who have been working together with very young children for over 10 years.
We started a successful preschool that focuses on more than the typical curriculum. We developed our curriculum starting with the premise that babies and very young children are capable of so much more than we realise. As a result our curriculum for very young children included lessons very much outside of the norm.
We had such a great response to these lessons from both the children and parents.
During this time we came to recognise the magnitude of the almost miraculous potential in our very young children. Harnessing that potential can however be time consuming and overwhelming for parents. We wanted to find a way to make it easier for parents to help their children become extraordinary.
We have been closely following various studies surrounding babies brains by institutions such as “Centre on the Developing Child” at Harvard University, “How early brain development is altered by substances and environments” at Northwestern University with the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Glenn Doman’s amazing ground-breaking discoveries in how babies learn to name only a few.
Knowledge, studies and research like this combined with our experience with young children has brought us to an understanding of how crucial the earliest years are for building babies brains.
From this, we are proud to say Brain-Building was created with a carefully constructed curriculum to give many babies a hugely advantageous start to life by making it both convenient and affordable.
